Very heavy large Nat with wonderful patina. One of the 37 Burmese Nats,( There are actually many more but the Government only recognizes 37). They are protectors of Houses, Villages, Forests, and just anything else that needs protection. They are usually given offerings before one passes through the area they protect. This one is made from old growth teak wood and is quite heavy. Nats often are carved sitting on Elephants ,Horses, Rats, water Buffalo etc...
